Larry Curry
Manager of Pre-Press Operations & Quality Control
Surrounded by Mac workstations and servers that make up the core of pre-press operations at Curry Printing, Larry Curry manages the department that takes customer art files and converts them to printing plates.
Larry began his career in printing in 1971 as a night shift press helper at Storm Printing in Dallas where his father Bill was the pressroom foreman. He also attended college during the day. In 1974, Larry entered printing full time at Yaquinto Printing in Dallas where he began building his pre-press expertise.
Larry spent the next 13 years in various pre-press capacities, eventually advancing to head the pre-press department at one of Dallas' largest printing companies.
In 1987 he joined Curry Printing where he has been a driving force in evolving the company's pre-press department into a fully digital environment.
Larry enjoys spending time with his wife Jan, son Blake, and daughter Candace. He enjoys golf and maintaining his favorite "toy", a Nissan 300ZX TT.
