Holmes Millet began working with EarthX in 2018 as the organization prepared for its landmark 2019 Expo at Fair Park in Dallas. What started as a traditional event engagement quickly expanded into a multi-year digital and brand transformation, evolving alongside EarthX as it grew into a global environmental forum, virtual events leader, and media organization with international reach.
2018–2019: Building the Foundation for a Record-Breaking Event
EarthX needed a modern brand presence and a website designed to drive awareness, attendees, and exhibitor engagement for its 2019 Fair Park Expo.
We delivered:
- A comprehensive brand system that is still in use today
- A streamlined, event-focused website built to support tens of thousands of users
- Print collateral, signage, maps, kiosks, wayfinding, banners, billboards, and large-format event graphics
- Video content, digital promos, and paid media assets
The results were immediate and historic: Over 170,000 people attended… the largest EarthX Expo to date.
This set the tone for the years ahead. EarthX didn’t just need a refreshed event presence. It needed a scalable, future-ready communication ecosystem.
2020–2021: Transitioning From In-Person to Digital-First
When global conditions forced EarthX to move away from in-person gatherings, they turned to us to help reimagine the event experience entirely.
Our role included:
- Helping transition EarthX into a digital-first, live-streamed global event platform
- Creating brand consistency across virtual sessions, broadcast content, and partner programming
- Designing dynamic promotional campaigns that supported real-time updates and year-round engagement
This phase expanded EarthX’s reach and reshaped its identity from an annual event into a global environmental movement that never “paused.”
2022: Launching EarthxTV (Now EarthX Media)
As EarthX grew into a full environmental media company, it needed a digital destination worthy of a global audience.
We developed the standalone website for EarthxTV—now known as EarthX Media—designed to:
- Support streaming video
- Organize long-form programming and series
- Integrate editorial, educational, and partner content
- Provide a scalable hub for future shows and contributors
- Reinforce EarthX as a credible, mission-driven media brand
This project marked a major expansion of EarthX’s identity, bridging events, advocacy, education, and broadcast media.
2024–2025: A Modern Website Inspired by Natural Principles
The latest iteration of EarthX.org brings the full evolution together. The organization now spans conferences, global initiatives, education programs, and a media network. So the digital experience needed to express all of it with clarity and confidence.
Our design and development approach drew inspiration from enduring natural principles:
flow, proportion, balance, atmosphere, seasonality, and responsiveness.
The result is a site that feels alive, modern, intuitive, and mission-forward.
The new EarthX.org:
- Simplifies access to events, initiatives, and media content
- Serves CEOs and policymakers as effectively as students and citizens
- Reinforces EarthX as a global environmental connector
- Provides a sophisticated digital platform that “breathes” with the organization
- Creates a sustainable system that adapts quickly as EarthX evolves
Results: A Sustainable Digital Ecosystem for a Global Environmental Brand
Across a six-year partnership, Holmes Millet helped EarthX:
- Attract 170,000+ attendees to its largest Fair Park event
- Build a brand system durable enough to support years of expansion
- Pivot to global virtual events and livestreamed programming
- Launch the standalone website for EarthxTV / EarthX Media
- Modernize and elevate EarthX.org into a world-class digital experience
- Create a cohesive ecosystem that connects events, media, education, and advocacy
Our story with EarthX is of an organization evolving and a true creative partnership as it navigates each stage with clarity, adaptability, and purpose.
