It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David G. Holmes, one of our founding partners and namesake of our agency. David’s leadership and dedication profoundly shaped our identity and success in our first 25 years and his impact is still felt in our operations today. His quick wit and wry sense of humor were well known by all who knew him.
More than just a colleague; he was a gifted ad man whose passion for our craft and exceptional work motivated everyone around him. He was a mentor, a friend, an advisor and a source of inspiration for aspiring creatives and seasoned ad pros alike who sought his counsel.
While his demanding and frugal nature were legendary, he was also renowned for his selfless generosity, kindness, and infectious enthusiasm that touched the lives of countless people, and left an indelible mark on the hearts and circumstances of those he helped.
Though he may no longer walk among us, the values and principles he instilled in our agency continue to inspire us to this day. Rest in peace dear friend and partner, while we see to it that your legacy endures for generations to come.
