Established creative services agency seeks person who can lead the growth of our video production division. Ideal candidate is a self-starting leader with a broad range of expertise and experience in all areas of video production.
Required skills include:
First and foremost - candidate must be a video “creatrepreneur” - a talented story-teller, artful shooter and skilled editor who can organize, concept, direct, produce, compose, shoot, light and edit/mix audio when needed. Animation or Motion graphics is a huge PLUS. Yes, it’s a lot to ask of one person but our project requirements range from “do it all yourself” to “full-blown, fully-crewed productions”. Must be able to turnkey a project alone, or direct a crew of 50+.
MUST have the ability and desire to help develop new business. This will not be your first priority, but you MUST be able to participate in bringing in business at some level.
Be able to envision success and motivate others to follow. And be willing and able to organize and maintain work flow, assignments and project files.
Have a firm knowledge of standard video production industry processes and procedures. But also know how to break “guerilla” or cut corners on a project in order to meet budget. In other words, know the “right way” to do things, but also be innovative and resourceful enough to “get the shot” without “breaking the bank”.
Have a firm knowledge of equipment - cameras, lights, editing systems, software & servers, etc…
And last but definitely not least, be able to complete projects on budget and at a profit.
We have a solid book of video business now and are seeking an entrepreneurial individual who possesses the vision, drive and head for business to help us grow our small production company into a larger one.
This position requires someone who is willing to go “all in” as they will be joining a team of others who do so daily.
We currently produce corporate videos, documentaries, and web content and are open to whatever else our collective dreams can turn into reality.
