Curry Printing was founded November 25, 1985 when Cody and Linda Curry purchased Draper Printing, a small shop located in Bedford, Texas. The infant Curry Printing operated with a pair of one-color Multilith presses, a table-top folder, an 18-inch semi-automatic cutter and a paper plate maker. Early in 1986 a 12 X 18 inch Multilith was added, and a thirty-inch fully automatic paper cutter and a two-color T-Head soon followed. The first important step into serious commercial printing was made in October of 1987 with the purchase of a two-color, 26 inch Komori Lithrone. This new press required critical stripping expertise which was provided by Larry Curry who joined the business to head the pre-press department. In January of 1987, Curry Printing acquired a five-color, 26-inch Komori press and moved to its current location in Euless, Texas. One year later a Stahl continuous-feed folder was added, followed by a saddle-stitcher and a 45-inch Itoh cutter. In 1993 the pre-press department began the transition to electronic output. In June 1998, a six-color, 28-inch Komori press with an aqueous coater was purchased and a Jet envelope press added March, 2000. The latest addition in 2001 to Curry Printing is the Computer-to-Plate System consisting of FUJI PLatesetter, PolaProof Matchcolor Proofing System and HP 5000 Plotter.
